Under Western Australian law all students of an age that makes them eligible to be enrolled in school must be enrolled in a government endorsed educational program. 

Once students are enrolled at Clarkson Primary school they must attend regularly unless:

  • They are too unwell
  • They have an infectious disease
  • The principal/ classroom teacher is provided with a genuine and acceptable reason.

Parents must provide written or verbal advice setting out the reason for a student's absence, within three working days of the absence; this is a requirement in relation to all students enrolled, including those enrolled in Kindergarten programs.

An SMS Message requesting details of the child's whereabouts will automatically be sent unless the school has already been advised of the child's non-attendance.  You are requested to respond to these SMS Messages.
