At Clarkson Primary School, every classroom has their own vegetable garden.
Switch Off: Students are encouraged to conserve energy by switching off electrical products when they are not in use. This includes lights, fans, airconditioners, heaters and computers.
Water stored in the rainwater tank is used to keep the vegetable gardens watered with the use of watering cans to assist.
Students are encouraged to restrict the amount of water they use in all activities.
Food scraps which fit the requirements for composting are used in our Compost Tumblers and Worm Farms to produce compost to use in the vegetable gardens.
